It’s bridal preview season! 💫

I’ve started meeting some of my lovely 2025 brides and these are some of the things I recommend doing to ensure that we get the most out of their makeup preview session:

• Get consistent with a skincare routine if you aren’t already! It doesn’t need to be complicated, just consistent (morning and night!) and focus on hydration. Happy, hydrated skin will help the makeup sit and last better.

• Inspiration images - Show me examples of my work that you like, as well as other artists! We’ll discuss exactly what it is that you like about these images and, potentially, what you don’t like. For example you might love the colours that have been used on the eyes but aren’t sure about the amount of blusher - we can draw elements from different looks to craft YOUR perfect bridal look.

• Wear your hair in a similar style and choose an outfit that is a similar cut and colour to what you’ll be wearing on your wedding day - this will give you a better idea of how everything will look together.

• If you’re planning on having a spray tan before your wedding day, make sure to have one before your preview too as the makeup will look different on different skin tones!

• Be open in expressing how you feel about the makeup throughout the appointment - your feedback allows me to tailor the perfect bridal look for you.
