I’ll also give you advice on looking after your makeup throughout the day, so you know what to do if you need a little touch-up after the happy tears, hugs or a particularly enthusiastic dance floor moment. 😂

It depends on what you’re booking.

For wedding makeup, I recommend enquiring as soon as you have your date confirmed, particularly for popular Saturdays.

Occasion makeup is generally booked much closer to the date, usually around 6–8 weeks in advance.

For makeup lessons, you can book whenever suits you, although I’d recommend allowing plenty of time to practise if you’re learning a look for a particular event or your wedding day.
