BRIDAL MAKEUP FAQS

  • It’s never too early to start planning your bridal makeup. Peak Saturdays often book up over a year in advance, so I recommend enquiring as soon as possible to secure your date. My diary is currently open for 2025 & 2026 weddings, with limited Saturday availability left for 2025.

  • To begin, please complete my bridal enquiry form with as many details as possible. I’ll respond within 3 working days and, if I’m unavailable, I’ll always do my best to recommend another trusted artist.

Once I’ve gathered the details of your wedding morning, I’ll create a bespoke quote for you. If you’d like to go ahead, your date will be secured with a signed contract and a £100 non-refundable deposit (this is deducted from your final balance).

  • Yes. For peak season Saturdays (1st May – 31st August), the minimum is the bride plus three (not including Flower Girl Sparkle). For Saturdays in April, September & October, the minimum is the bride plus two adults.

  • Your initial £100 deposit secures your booking.

    • 50% of your remaining balance is due at least 42 days before your wedding.

    • The final balance is due 14 days before your wedding.

Any additional fees (such as trials or assistant costs) will be outlined clearly in your contract and accessible anytime via your WedQuarters portal. All payments are to be made via bank transfer.

  • If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible so I can release the date.

    • Deposits are non-refundable.

    • For cancellations made less than 6 weeks before your wedding, a percentage of the final balance may still be charged (outlined clearly in your contract).

    • Any booking changes must be confirmed by email. If you reduce the number of services, your booking must still meet the minimum quota and a partial fee may apply.

  • Previews are usually held 3–6 months before your wedding. I dedicate January–April to previews for my summer brides so I can give them my full focus before peak season begins. Autumn/winter brides will be scheduled in a little later in the year.

Preview appointments aren’t available on Saturdays or Sundays during peak wedding months, though limited availability may be possible at other times.

Previews are typically held at my home studio in NR4, though travel may be possible depending on my schedule (additional charges may apply).

If you’d like to try a trial before committing, I offer a two-hour standalone appointment for £90. If you then book your wedding day with me, we’ll schedule another full preview closer to your date to finalise your bridal makeup look - this is included in your package.

  • Timings vary, but as a guide:

    • Bridesmaids / mothers of the bride or groom: 45 - 60 minutes each

    • Bride: up to 75 minutes

I’ll create a personalised wedding morning schedule for you and your bridal party to keep everything running smoothly. I always ensure makeup is finished at least an hour before you need to leave for your ceremony.

  • Yes. I can usually manage the bride plus up to 5 others depending on your ceremony time. For larger groups or early starts, I may bring along an assistant (fees from £50).

  • This is quite common with wedding venues, so there are a couple of options to make sure everyone is ready on time:

    • Hire an assistant artist: We can begin as soon as the venue opens, and with two of us working, your full bridal party can be finished within the tighter timeframe. Please note, both artists’ minimum booking requirements must be met.

    • Start at an alternative location: If you’d prefer, we can begin your preparations somewhere else (such as a home or hotel) and then move over to the venue once it’s available. There is a £50 fee to cover travel time, packing up, and setting back up again. The two locations must be within 30 minutes of each other - otherwise an additional charge may apply.
