BRIDAL MAKEUP FAQS

It’s never too early to start planning your bridal makeup. Peak Saturdays often book up over a year in advance, so I recommend enquiring as soon as possible to secure your date. My diary is currently open for 2027 weddings, with my 2028 diary opening early next year.

To begin, please complete my bridal enquiry form with as many details as possible. I’ll respond within 3 working days and, if I’m unavailable, I’ll always do my best to recommend another trusted artist.

Once I’ve gathered the details of your wedding morning, I’ll create a bespoke quote for you. If you’d like to go ahead, your date will be secured with a signed contract and a £100 non-refundable booking fee (this is deducted from your final balance)

Yes. For peak season Saturdays (1st April – 31st October), my minimum booking is the bride plus three additional adult services (Flower Girl Sparkle not included).

For Fridays and Bank Holiday Mondays between May & August, the minimum booking is the bride plus two additional adult services.

For smaller bridal parties, I offer a more intimate package on Peak Saturdays. This is designed for brides who are having a smaller, more relaxed wedding morning and would like to book me for bridal makeup without needing a larger bridal party. It includes bridal makeup plus makeup for up to two additional adults, and is available at a fixed price of £490.

Your £100 booking fee secures your wedding date and is deducted from your final balance.

50% of your remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your wedding.

The final balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding.

Any additional fees (such as trials or assistant costs) will be clearly outlined in your contract and invoice. All payments are made via bank transfer.

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify me in writing as soon as possible so the date can be released.

Cancellation terms are as follows:

• 56 days or more before the wedding: no further payment due (booking fee & trials are non-refundable)

• 29–56 days before the wedding: 50% of wedding day services payable

• 28 days or less: 100% of wedding day services payable

All payments made are non-refundable and will be applied to any cancellation fees due.

Any booking changes (including reduction in services) must be confirmed by email and remain subject to minimum booking requirements.

Previews are usually held 3–6 months before your wedding (around 4 months before tends to be the sweet spot!) I dedicate January–April to previews for my summer brides so I can give them my full focus before peak season begins. Autumn/winter brides will be scheduled in a little later in the year.

Preview appointments aren’t available on Saturdays or Sundays during peak wedding months, though limited availability may be possible at other times and an additional surcharge will apply.

Previews are typically held at my home studio in NR4, though travel may be possible depending on my schedule (additional charges will apply).

If you’d like to have a preview appointment before committing, I offer a two-hour standalone appointment for £100. If you then book your wedding day with me, we’ll schedule another full preview closer to your date to finalise your bridal makeup look - this is included in your package.

Timings vary, but as a guide:

• Wedding party: 45 - 60 minutes each

• Bride: up to 90 minutes

I’ll create a personalised wedding morning schedule for you and your wedding party to keep everything running smoothly. I always ensure makeup is finished at least an hour before you need to leave for your ceremony.

Yes - depending on timings, I can usually accommodate the bride plus up to 5 additional services.

For larger parties or early start times, I may require an assistant. This will be subject to availability and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

An assistant fee is £100 plus travel costs where applicable.

This is quite common with wedding venues, so there are a couple of options to make sure everyone is ready on time:

• Hire an assistant artist: We can begin as soon as the venue opens, and with two of us working, your full wedding party can be finished within the tighter timeframe. Please note, both artists’ minimum booking requirements must be met.

• Start at an alternative location: If you’d prefer, we can begin your preparations somewhere else (such as a home or hotel) and then move over to the venue once it’s available. There is a £35 fee to cover pack up and set down time and mileage will be charged at 60p/mile.

Yes! I’m fully mobile across Norfolk and Suffolk, so I’ll come to wherever you’re getting ready on your wedding morning.

10 miles of travel is included within my bridal makeup package, with additional mileage being charged at 60p/mile.

For journeys over 90 minutes, overnight accommodation may be required - this will all be confirmed at the time of booking.
